Student Resources

Welcome New Students

A very warm welcome to all our new students! Please take advantage of self help on our New Students website, or visit Computing @ Yale if you have any issues. Wishing you an engaging, inspiring, and rewarding year!

Computing @ Yale 2022

Every year, STC hosts a multiday device setup and information event that we call Computing @ Yale. These sessions allow first-year students to quickly set up their wireless internet access, antivirus, printing accounts, cloud storage, virtual private network (VPN), multifactor authentication, and more. Students will also receive a complimentary gift, learn about campus technology resources and information security, and can optionally learn about working for STC. We strongly encourage first-year students to attend so they can have their computers properly connected to the Yale network.

Click a date below to register for a session!

Sessions will be held on the first floor of Linsly-Chittenden Hall (LC), which is on Old Campus. Dates and times are below:

Sunday August 21st, 10am-7pm

Sunday August 28th, 10am-7pm

Device setup will consist of forty-five minute sessions in a lecture setting, with the option to get personalized assistance afterwards. To reserve a slot for a device setup session, click the date you would like to attend! While registration is preferred, a limited number of walk-ins may be accommodated.
